HR Business Partner - 12-month Contract

I am recruiting for an HR Business Partner to join a successful business based in Sutton. This is initially a 12-month contract offering a salary of £50,000. 4-5 days per week, flexible working arrangements will be considered. The client is looking for a commercially focused, operationally effective and proactive HR Business Partner to join the business.
Key Accountabilities:
• Act as an integral member of the leadership teams, building strong relationships with Senior Business Leaders and other relevant stakeholders
• Work with all managers to coach, advise and challenge thinking
• Act as a key agent to improve line management capability within the business
• Drive and implement the People Plans for this business unit by focusing on talent, succession planning, resource planning, employee engagement and change management, in order to support the delivery of business objectives and drive a high performance culture
• Utilise HR metrics to diagnose, measure and improve the health of the business in HR terms
• Provide robust HR leadership and guidance on restructures, organisational change and integration of recent acquisition businesses
• Manage salary benchmarking exercises and global assignment processes
• Ownership of the Grad Scheme and apprentice levy project
• Work with the recruitment team to drive an ambitious growth workforce plan

Knowledge and skills required:
• Knowledge and experience of implementing best practice HR solutions to drive a high performance culture
• Demonstrates strong business/commercial approach and understanding of business needs
• Excellent relationship-building skills demonstrated through proven experience of working in partnership with Directors and Senior Business Leaders in order to improve people management practices and develop strategic HR plans
• Passionate about customer service with the ability to articulate previous achievements through business deliverables
• Ability to establish professional credibility quickly
• Experience of coaching, influencing and working in partnership with Senior Business Leaders
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to negotiate and influence effectively with all levels of an organisation
• Experience of managing small/medium scale, change programmes e.g. Organisation re-design, merger and acquisition, culture change.
• Keen interest in Technology, experience working in a Technology business preferred
• Self-motivated, able to set and deliver their own objectives and comfortable with remote management
