Purpose:We are looking for two HR Assistants to join our busy HR department.
Duties/Responsibilities: Responsibilities include supporting the HR Advisors by undertaking the full range of HR Assistant duties from drafting contracts of employment and change of terms and conditions letters, requesting and answering reference requests, running all HR processes including new starters, leavers and maternity/paternity and transfers. You will also be responsible for replying to basic staff HR queries, inputting data to the payroll spreadsheet, analysing exit interviews and assisting with HR projects as required. In addition you will be responsible for scanning the post, arranging interviews and appraisals, liaising with payroll and general HR administration.
Skills/Competencies required: Previous experience in HR is desirable. You must be experienced at dealing with people over the phone, be able to demonstrate problem solving abilities, be flexible, used to working to tight deadlines and be used to juggling a busy workload. You must also be able to demonstrate excellent team working capabilities, have excellent communication skills (written & oral) and you must be able to demonstrate strong organisational skills combined with tact, discretion and confidence in dealing with HR issues. You must have excellent attention to detail and accuracy skills and understand the basics of employment law. Strong IT skills, especially experience in Excel, are also necessary.
