HR Assistant

Venn Group is currently recruiting for an interim HR Assistant for a requirement within the education sector in Surrey

The education client with whom we are working is looking for a candidate who will:

  • Provide advice and guidance on HR policies, procedures and best practice to line managers and staff, referring more complex situations to the HR Advisors where appropriate
  • Undertake administrative duties within the department; including preparing new starter files and induction packs
  • Support employee relations procedures e.g. grievance and disciplinary meetings. This will involve arranging meetings, taking notes and providing supporting documents
  • Provide support for employee wellbeing and engagement activities including referrals to Occupational Health and the Centre for Wellbeing, employee benefits and staff survey.

To be considered for the post of HR Assistant you must have:

  • Previous experience of working in a high volume HR / recruitment administrative role
  • Good customer service skills
  • Good IT skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
  • HR qualification or CIPD (Desirable)
