You will be working in large modern hotel near central Guildford. This is a friendly and professional team.
As a HR Assistant in this position you will be working in a small team and reporting to the HR manager. However, this is a varied role including payroll and invoicing. Within the HR aspect you will be providing advice to staff and managers on policy, processes, and procedures. You will conduct administration for new starter’s, leavers, maternity leave, paternity leave, probationary periods and reference requests. You will be required to assist in any company changes (e.g. any staffing restructures). Alongside this the running of payroll is a large part of the role, you will be responsible for the processing payroll for 65 employees. This will include the administration of SSP, P11d’s and setting up of pensions. Processing of a moderate level of invoices will also be a requirement in this position.
Due to the flexible and varied nature of this role it will be key that you have previous HR, payroll and invoicing experience.
The company use the system PeopleSoft, previous use would be of benefit but is not essential as training can be given.
