You will be working for a media company in London.

Your new role
You will be working as a HR Advisor for an initial 9 month period however this role could become permanent for the right candidate.

The HR Advisor will be a first point of contact for HR queries from line managers and employees.

Some duties will include:

  • Being a first point of contact, advising and supporting HR queries.
  • Day to day management and administration of the HR process.
  • Day to day management of transition from the hiring to onboarding administration process - new starter details and equipment set up, staff inductions, contracts.
  • Conducting employee relations case work and holding meetings in line with appropriate employment law legislation e.g. long/sickness absence, performance management, occupational health, probationary reviews, grievances and disciplinaries investigations.
  • Advising and obtaining visas for staff travelling and dealing with visa renewals
  • Ensuring staff have all the necessary support around maternity leave
  • Assist with the smooth organisation of the COVID testing service.
  • Supporting the Head of HR in the update and communication of company policy and procedure.
  • Undertake projects that support the company's aims and objectives or improve the effectiveness of HR.
  • Always ensure that company policies and procedures are followed.
  • Ensure HRIS is up to date in terms of structure and employee information.
  • Produce data reports from HRIS (with the support of the Workday team) to provide information to HR and business leadership team.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this role, you will have previous experience in a HR Advisory role where you have taken a lead on employee relations cases.

Ideally you will have experience writing and updating company policies.

What you'll get in return
In return, you will receive an annual salary of between £40,000 - £45,000 depending on previous experience.
