Are you an experienced HR Advisor with excellent communication and interpersonal skills?
The UK Atomic Energy Authority (UKAEA) are seeking an HR Advisor to join their friendly team working closely with other HR Advisors/HR Business Partners and the wider HR Team to deliver the operational HR service. The Human Resource team support UKAEA`s employees through the full HR lifecycle from recruitment, development, payroll through to management activities.
-Provide professional advice and support to employees on the application and interpretation of UKAEA HR related processes and procedures.
-Carry out project work including researching topics and writing appropriate employee/line manager guidance documents.
-Be actively involved in effective employee-relations case management.
- Represent HR at recruitment interviews and assessments.
-Write and deliver bite size training sessions around line management/HR topics, including induction and probation.
-Production and analysis of statistics from HR IT system.
-Monitor HR processes such as sick note return rate, probation periods.
-Work closely with line managers by providing mentoring and support.

Knowledge skills and experience
-CIPD Level 3 or equivalent
-Previous HR experience
-Proven ability to work successfully as part of a team
-Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to deal with internal and external contacts
-Ability to organise priorities and multi-task
-Above average IT skills, especially Excel-Knowledge of data protection act/GDPR and ability to treat personal information appropriately and with discretion
-Ability to take accurate notes of meetings
-Experience/knowledge of HR IT systems
-Excellent communication skills
- Employment law knowledge
- Interview experience
