We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Advisor to join our People team at Sovereign.

The focus of this role is to support our People Business Partners in providing a comprehensive, expert service of advice and guidance to enable the capability of Managers and employees in dealing with all people matters. This is all part of our People Strategy which is about inspiring our people.

With your own caseload to manage, you will work with managers, helping them to interpret policies and procedures, utilising your knowledge of employment law whilst taking a best practice approach. You'll provide support in the delivery of people focused organisationalinitiatives.

You'll need proven experience of working in a similar HR role providing advice on complex ER cases. Ideally be CIPD qualified or working towards this but it's not essential. What really matters to us is someone who naturally adopts a coaching style with managers and uses active listening skills to help navigate through a range of cases, encouraging managers to take ownership and identify any training needs.

Please note that this role will be based in Newbury initially, moving to our new offices in Basingstoke in the Spring 2020. You will be required to travel to other offices as part of this role, so having access to a car and Full UK Driver's License is essential.
