Alium Partners is working with an internationally renowned chemicals manufacturer and distributor based in Hertfordshire. Its operations cover Europe, distributing both branded and own brand products to the health care and nutrition industry. They have ambitious growth plans for the future and they are looking for an HR Advisor to support the HR Manager in delivering and communicating the HR strategy and people plan and to embed HR best practice across the business.
The HR Advisor, based in Hertfordshire, will be responsible for providing operational HR services to the UK sites and will cover projects extending to other sites. Some UK travel is required to other sites. There is potential for the role to be extended to having higher operational responsibility supporting all sites in future.
The HR Advisor will provide support to the HR Manager and to managers across the business in all aspects of HR including change management and organisation development, resourcing, recruitment and succession planning, learning and development, reward and benefit administration and employee engagement.
The successful candidate will have an open and collaborative style, possess excellent communication skills, be CIPD qualified or part qualified and ideally have some experience in a multi -site manufacturing or distribution environment.
