We’re working with an incredibly successful and global professional services firm with a base in Newcastle upon Tyne to recruit a HR Advisor who will cover a period of maternity leave for 10-months.
This business has gone from strength to strength and grown significantly in recent years to become one of the leading firms in its field with a strong presence around the world and is therefore looking for someone with confidence, credibility and influence to join the HR team.
About the role:
Reporting into an excellent HR Leader and working as part of a large UK wide HR team, you will work closely with management and employees to provide a Generalist HR service including advice, guidance, coaching and support relating to employee relations, HR policies and HR projects.
Working well with their diverse range of stakeholders is crucial for success in this role and so previous experience of encouraging leadership competence when handling people situations such as disciplinaries, grievances, capability, performance and absence is necessary. You must also be very comfortable reacting to a wide range of often complex situations and providing HR advice in line with legislation and best practices.
A key part of your role will also be to stay up to date with employment law, deliver presentations or lead meetings with senior management and employees, carry out HR research, review HR policies and contribute to a variety of HR projects such as GDPR, diversity & inclusion or pay & reward reviews.

We are looking to speak with HR professionals who are highly experienced in employee relations and HR project management, confident and capable of reacting to unique and complex situations with a solutions focused approach and prior experience of handling a busy and ever-changing HR workload.
A CIPD qualification would be ideal however experience and values are also very important to this firm so we welcome applications from experienced HR Advisors who are able to commit to this 10-month contract.
