HR Advisor

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Organisational Development Division for a HR Advisor.

There will be a requirement to work closely with Managers at all levels in a supportive, coaching and partnership approach in the application of HR policies and procedures, Employment Law, Case Law and National Terms and Conditions regarding complex and sensitive HR matters to ensure outcome minimises risk and financial exposure.

You will support the maintenance of positive employee relations and engage in formal consultations and negotiations with employees, their representatives and trade unions, in accordance with agreed protocols.

Educational attainments for the post include the possession of Level 5 of the CIPD qualification and working towards, or committed to working towards the Level 7 of the full CIPD qualification or equivalent, as well as knowledge of employment legislation and its application. Proven experience in Human Resources to ensure effective Human Resource Management and an ability to demonstrate a working knowledge of HR Policies and Procedures to include: Recruitment and Selection; Attendance Management; Dispute resolution including Discipline and Grievance and Termination procedures is essential. You will be methodical, be able to prioritise tasks effectively, meet deadlines consistently and be IT literate.
