HR Advisor

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a HR Advisor to work within a varied HR team.
The main objectives and responsibilities for the role include:

* Provide accurate HR advice to Managers and employees.
* To liaise with Trade Union regarding case work.
* Undertake project work.
* Review Company policy, procedures and associated documents, as well as develop and manage effective internal team relationships.
* Provide generalist support such as casework investigations and meetings.
* Coach Managers in implementing and developing good people and performance management practices across the business, and deliver training workshops to Managers on key HR areas as required.
* Ensure that HRIS data is accurately recorded and maintained accurately, as well as contribute to the continuous improvement of HR systems and practices.
* Assist colleagues as and when required with HR transactional tasks, but also ensure continuous personal development.

The skills and competencies required for this role include, but are not limited to:
* CIPD qualification to level 5 or preferably level 7, as well as experience as a HR Practitioner is essential for this role.
* Well-developed communication skills, both written and oral.
* Commercial awareness to understand the business needs and requirements equally amongst other considered factors.
* Proficient keyboard skills and well-developed IT skills including MS Office.
* Ability to co-ordinate a busy workload and to produce high quality work with a focus on attention to detail.
* Confidential, with the ability to identify and protect personal and sensitive information.
* Proven organisational skills, with the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
* Experience of working with senior managers and staff who have varying understanding of HR processes.
* Experience of providing HR services to leadership team across the UK, as well as utilising HR data to enhance management understanding and decision making.
* Proven experience in using HR based in house systems is also essential for this position, for example, HRIS.
* Experience of working within a team and contributing to the team proportionately.
* Awareness of the many interruptions with regards to enquiries which may occur.
