Our Facilities Management division offers a wide range of services to commercial and residential clients for reactive and planned maintenance, right through to refurbishment and building installation.

An exciting opportunity within the Mick George HR team has arisen for an experienced HR Advisor to hit the ground running and support HR activities across the entire Mick George group of companies. As HR Advisor, you'll provide effective HR support to managers across East Anglia and East Midlands. You'll be working with the Head of HR and the Internal Recruiter to provide day to day support and all operational HR/Recruitment activity and support on any HR projects that arise.

ABOUT THE ROLE

You'll provide expert knowledge of employee relations and employment law policies and practices. You'll work with managers on all aspects of HR, including ER, performance management, grievances and recruitment. You will also undertake the following:

  • To educate and support Managers so that they can implement HR policies and procedures effectively

  • To plan and deliver training, as appropriate

  • Delivery of relevant workshops within the HR remit as appropriate

  • To ensure that all planned people activities are communicated and executed effectively so that they drive results and enhance business performance

  • Manage all HR administration in line with company and legal requirements

  • To advise managers on performance measures where appropriate and plan activity that will drive these positively.

  • To provide 360 recruitment support to the Internal Recruiter to include:

    • Advertising new vacancies on company website/ external job boards.

    • Resourcing

    • Interviewing potential candidates alongside hiring managers

    • Onboarding of successful candidates to include new starter inductions.

KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Part of fully qualified to minimum CIPD Level 3

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience within a HR advisory role

  • Commercial background.

  • Strong employee relations background with the ability to influence others.

  • Excellent consultancy problem solving, coaching and facilitation skills

  • The ability to work in ambiguous situations and create clarity from them

  • Resilient nature.

  • Self-motivated with the ability to remain calm under pressure

  • Full UK Driving Licence
