I am seeking an HR Advisor for a client based in Reigate. In this role you will act as the Advisor for employee and manager HR queries. This is a full-time position offering a salary of £34,000.

Key duties and responsibilities include:
• Acting as the Advisor for employee and manager HR queries, resolving issues or escalating to the HR Business Partner whilst ensuring the advice and support given is in compliance with employment law and HR best practice
• Driving the business forward through HR initiatives and changes which continually improve the organisation’s effectiveness
• Coaching line managers on application and implementation of HR policies and procedures
• Identifying learning and development requirements by conducting needs analysis and working with the HR team to develop and deliver local programmes
• Managing the recruitment process: liaising with external providers, screening CVs, providing support and advice during the interviewing process, and managing onboarding once an offer has been made
• Conducting exit interviews and providing regular reports on employee retention
• Managing individual employee relations issues including case management of absence, grievance and disciplinary

The ideal candidate must:
• Be CIPD qualified
• Have proven experience of working in an HR role at a similar level for at least 2 years
• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Have demonstrable knowledge of current employment legislation
• Have proven experience of manging employee relations issues
• Be able to build credibility and positive working relationships with line managers
• Be able to manage multiple projects at once, meet deadlines and manage your time effectively
