We are a dynamic multi-channel retailer, offering lingerie, swimwear and clothing to fit and flatter women who are a D-L cup. Over the last 22 years we have experienced some substantial growth and we are now a £50 million-pound turnover business, with 28 stores across the UK as well as a well-established e-commerce operation. We want to support the business to ensure we can give the best to, and get the best out of our people in order to maintain our culture, achieve our business results and ignite further loyalty from our customers.

We are looking for a HR Advisor to join our HR team in Leamington Spa. As a HR Advisor with us, you will support our Senior Business Partner, working with our managers and teams across the business to ensure all employee relations and other HR activities are managed effectively and with our unique culture in mind.

About the role

As a member of our HR Team, you will help to inspire our leaders and managers by supporting them with tools and techniques that create great teams and allow us to maintain our culture. Traditional 'best practice’ tools won’t always work for us. We like different, and we don’t always use tried and tested methods that we have to mould to our business, instead we create new ones!

You will be responsible for working with our teams across the business to implement short and long-term people plans whilst also being the go to person for day to day queries. Creating great relationships will be really important to ensure you understand the intricate workings and culture of the teams you support. Our team of 800 people is likely to increase over the coming years, and with a relatively small HR team, you will need to be flexible and resilient to ensure you are able to deal with changing priorities when required.

Able to work with a level of autonomy, you will need to prioritise business needs based on the business purpose and our key HR priorities. With a great knowledge of employment law, you will be able to plan and implement approaches and suggest new solutions that really make a difference.

About you

We are looking for an experienced HR professional that has a fun yet credible style that will really support our business culture and growth. You should have a natural warmth that will support you in building rapport and relationships with our people, but also be able to challenge them effectively when needed.

You will need to have a really creative mind to do this job well! We are not looking for HR solutions that are replicas of solutions used by other organisations. You may have to unlearn some of the best practice that you have introduced elsewhere as this may not work here. You should therefore have a real drive and appetite for learning new things, and an open mind to new ideas.

You should have experience as a HR Advisor in a fast-paced environment. Your sector of expertise is less important than your agility to learn and your desire to shape your work by our business purpose. You will ideally be educated to a degree level, or have a relevant HR qualification.

This opportunity will give you a vast amount of exposure to a range of functions within the business and across HR. Our HR team do not work in silo and regularly support each other outside of individual specialisms.
