Service Care Solutions are looking for new talent to join their ever-growing business. SCS are the 3rd fasted growing, privately owned Recruitment Agency based in the centre of Preston. We specialise in nine different sectors, providing temporary and permanent staff to various organisations nationwide. We supply staff to NHS trusts, local authorities and various other clients across the UK.

We are currently looking for an HR Advisor to take responsibility for a wide range of HR duties relating to the business. You will have an exciting opportunity to learn, grow and develop. Reporting to a Director, you will be working in a challenging position in a dynamic work environment.
The role of a HR Advisor involves:
*Advising Managers on the interpretation and application of existing HR policies, processes and procedures.
*Recommend appropriate courses of action on employee relations issues
*To assist Managers in managing and reducing sickness absence
*To manage all recruitment vacancies across the business
*To assist line managers in compiling job descriptions, person specifications and recruitment adverts.
*To provide general HR advice, guidance and support to all staff.
*To provide HR support to line managers on staff disciplinary, capability and grievance matters (escalating more complex issues to Senior Managers)
* Compile personnel files of all employees using our online HR portal, ensuring full compliance and up to date documents.
*Book and record all travel and hotel bookings for employees relating to client visits
* Track and manage probationary reviews and annual reviews, notifying the appropriate Divisional Lead when an employee is due for an appraisal. Ensuring appraisal dates are recorded and the documents are saved on our online HR portal.
*Prepare agenda's and take minutes as and when requested for internal meetings and distribute to attendees.
*Other duties as and when required

The ideal candidate will have:
*2 years' experience within a HR Advisor capacity
*Experience of working within a fast paced dynamic environment
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong IT skills, including MS Office including Outlook, Word and Excel
*Educated to CIPD Level 3 or 5
*Up to date knowledge of employment legislation and its practical application
*The ability to work with discretion at all times
