SF Group are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading retail business based in North Leicestershire, for a HR Advisor. This is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract for a maternity cover. This is a truly HR generalist role, to support the HR Manager in driving the department forward within the business to offer the best possible service. To support the HR function to build and maintain the profile of HR, with all stakeholders and to develop a pro-active approach to HR and Training across the business. The role will also involve the full management of payroll.
As the HR Advisor, your responsibility is to provide advice and support on Employee Relation issues, to case manage cases to include absence, performance, misconduct and grievances. You will provide HR advice, best practice, coaching and support across the full HR remit. To support on Policy and processes queries, track redundancies, keep up to date administrative records such as new starters, leavers, including updating of contracts of employments, and assist with the running of 4 weekly payroll. You will also support with key recruitment initiatives and work with managers in interviews and writing up job descriptions. Other key areas of focus will be undertaking ad hoc projects where required.
In order to be successful for this position, you will have experience of HR and knowledge of employment law. You will ideally be CIPD Qualified or working towards your qualification. Possesses strong HR Administration experience, and have had some experience of case management. The ideal candidate will have experience within a similar position, have an understanding of core HR policies, processes and legislation to be able to advise on day to day queries, have experience of recruitment and supporting with the full recruitment cycle. You will also have some experience of Payroll. You will be a strong team player and have the ability to work on your own initiative supporting the management team.
