HR Advisor

Are you an experienced HR Advisor with employee relations experience and looking to further develop your career?

About the Role

You will be able to hit the ground running to provide a HR Advisor service to the business supporting employee relations, change management, information & reporting, and continuous improvement activity.

  • Provide advisory services to the operation team or managers on employment relations and employment law.

  • Manage a range of high volume ER cases and prioritise according to risk, statutory deadlines and internal service level agreements.

  • Act as a consultant to provide options based solutions, whilst being compliant with statutory and Minster Law policies and procedures.

  • Take accountability for implementing decisions and identifying areas of continuous improvement, recommend solutions to HR Business Partner and implement as appropriate.

  • Maintain accurate case files including electronic copies and updating systems on a regular basis.

  • This role is based at our Wakefield office, but flexibility is required to travel to our York office for the next 6 months. There may also be the occasional requirement to travel to the London office.

    You will be able to demonstrate proven experience working within a similar HR role. You will need to be a resilient team player with strong communication, analytical and organisational skills to work at pace. You will be self-motivated, driven and seek opportunities to add value rather than waiting for them to come to you.

    We’re open to the environment you have previously worked in but you’ll need a professional approach to work, attention to detail and integrity as we’re a regulated business. You’ll enjoy working within a changing environment and have experience in a business going through transformation; a positive approach to change is an essential requirement.
