HR Advisor - 6 Month FTC

The B & S Group is a privately owned pharmaceutical company which manufactures and distributes pharmaceutical and healthcare products to the UK market. Established in 1999 we offer a wide range of products and services which includes specials, generic drugs, branded medicines, parallel trade and over-the-counter (OTC) medicines. Having undergone two acquisitions since 2010, we are continuing to strengthen and are growing rapidly.

An exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Advisor to join the team, you will be the first point of contact for HR queries and will be pivotal in the HR team:

  • Building effective working relationships with key stakeholders across the organisation.
  • Providing best practise advice and guidance to all Line managers and employees
  • Coach and advise on employment relations issues
  • Advise on company policies, procedures and processes
  • Manage disciplinary, grievance investigations, drafting supporting materials
  • Support performance review
  • Support overall employee life cycle


  • Substantial experience working as an HR Advisor
  • CIPD Qualified
  • Previous experience working in a commercial organisation balancing best practise while supporting the business
  • Able to demonstrate exposure to the following:
  • Dealing with complex Employee Relations cases
  • Absence management
  • Stakeholder management
  • Employee engagement
  • Policy writing and updating

The position will suit an HR Advisor who is looking to support the implementation of new policies and procedures to support the HR transformation and culture shift that we are currently embarking on.
