HR Advisor - Apprenticeship Programme

Due to their continued growth and expansion, this progressive professional services firm has a new requirement for an HR Advisor to provide a quality and responsive service specifically in relation to Early Ambitions across the firm. The Early Ambitions focus includes Apprenticeships, Graduates and internal development. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in the development of an early careers offering at the firm and would be ideal for you if you are passionate about and committed to developing people and helping them achieve their potential with the firm. You will need strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with a wide range of stakeholders; the business, its employees, education providers and potential recruits. You will also need to be enthusiastic to attend networking / careers events and law fairs.

HR Advisor for Apprenticeship Programme - Key duties will include:

1.actively managing specific projects and/or supporting the HR Business Partner in order to deliver the HR plan in relation to Early Ambitions

2.providing coaching and guidance to staff on the career routes and development opportunities available to them

3.under the guidance of the HR Business Partner, managing all processes and reporting associated with Early Ambitions, including:

- recruitment, including candidate attraction; organisation and attendance at law fairs, careers events, liaison with relevant educational institutions and external publications annually. This will also include assisting in the design and running of assessment centres and co-ordination of relevant work experience schemes

- supporting the development of apprenticeships at the firm, including researching and developing relationships with apprenticeship providers

- supporting the life-cycle of those under Early Ambitions including on-boarding, appraisals and exit interviews

- monitoring budget and keeping record of spend

- keeping up to date with relevant industry changes (ie SRA and SQE forthcoming changes)

HR Advisor for Apprenticeship Programme - Skills and experience you will have:

·a minimum of 2 years’ previous experience in an HR Advisor / Officer role with exposure to graduate and apprentice processes is essential

·prior exposure to an HR function in a law firm is desirable; experience in professional services will be considered
