A global manufacturing business is recruiting a HR Advisor on a 5 month FTC c£35-£40k in South West London

This company is an innovative global manufacturing business that has a range of specialist divisions operating at 150 locations and employing around 4000 people. This role will be supporting 30 sites and approx 500 employees. They work with local independents and have contracts with large blue chip corporate businesses. This company has experienced a re-structure in the team therefore are consequently recruiting an experienced Interim fixed term contract HR Advisor.
Your new role
Your role will predominantly be based in South West London but will also involve travel to their various sites in the North region. Your role is to provide comprehensive guidance, advice and support in relation to HR to employees and managers, promoting enhanced employee performance. You will support Managers on employee relations matters such as staff performance, grievance, disciplinary, capability and manage absence including long term sickness. You will advise management and employees in accordance with legislation and best practice, identifying improvements and training needs. You will also assist in developing and monitoring the maintenance of the HR database ensuring full data integrity. Assist in the development and maintenance of HR policies and procedures in line with present legislative updates. Working with the Resource Manager you will support any recruitment initiatives, ensuring quality and timely response of delivery.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will be CIPD qualified with experience of providing HR Operational support in a fast paced commercial business, ideally in a similar industry (engineering, construction, and manufacturing). You will have proven experience of generalist HR and strong employment law knowledge managing ER cases, end to end recruitment, employee lifecycle and HR related policies and procedures. You will have effective communication and excellent stakeholder management with the ability to influence at all levels with assertive, engaging and professional style. You will have experience of coaching managers as well as challenging managers to drive performance improvement. It is essential that you are prepared to travel nationally on a monthly basis.
