HR Advisor (12 Month Contract)

Our client is looking for an HR Advisor to join their busy HR team to provide advice and support managers and employees across the business. The role is varied and hands-on and will require a degree of travel to other offices. Responsibilities will include the full range of HR duties including:

  • Managing the recruitment process
  • Conducting interviews and appraisals
  • Generating contracts of employment
  • Administering contractual changes
  • Conducting exit interviews and processing leavers
  • Advising managers and employees on HR queries including sickness absence, maternity and paternity rights
  • Advising on and conducting disciplinary and grievance investigations, performance and capability and redundancy processes
  • Updating HR policies
  • Taking responsibility for HR projects

Person Specification

  • Previous HR Advisor/Officer experience
  • Proven in dealing with a wide range of HR issues
  • Confident in communicating at all levels
  • Previous recruitment experience would be beneficial
  • Strong administration and organisational skills
  • Tact and discretion
  • Good IT skills
  • Experience in project management would be beneficial
