HR Administrator

Our prestigious client in Reading are looking for an enthusiastic HR Administrator to join their law firm.

This is a permanent role and you would need to work 22.5 hours a week, Fridays are required but other days are negotiable.

You'll be supporting and reporting directly to the HR Manager on various tasks.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Float management for secretary rotas
  • Management of online recruitment adverts
  • Liaising with recruitment consultants
  • Candidate database management
  • Employee induction
  • Engagement with all employees
  • Maintaining the CIPHR database
  • Reports
  • Scan and file documents
  • Record absentee (including sickness)
  • Training records for staff
  • Assisting the HR manager with salary reviews and bonuses
  • Manage trainee contracts
  • Organisation of trainee assessment day
  • Payroll and employee benefits
  • Communication with benefit providers
  • Work experience programme

Experience required

  • Minimum 2 years experience in a HR Admin/assistant role
  • Enjoys working in a team
  • Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
  • Previous experience in a law firm would be advantageous
  • Confident user of IT packages (Microsoft, Word, Powerpoint, Excel)
