HR Administrator

Adecco have an exciting role just in for an HR Administrator to join our local client on a permanent basis.

Your role will be to provide administrative support to the HR function in an efficient and timely manner. Positively challenging systems of work and be driven to resolve issues with a sense of urgency and integrity.

You will have many responsibilities, some will include:

* Undertake the administration of the absence management procedure on a daily and weekly basis
* Manage the administration of the recruitment process, liaising with the local job centre and other employment providers
* Carry out inductions for all new starts, ensuring all paperwork accurately and fully completed for full audit compliance
* Keep up to date records of employee lockers and issue locker keys to new starts, ensuring process is accurately followed
* Maintain the filling on all HR documentation in each employee personnel file
* Maintain a robust archiving system to store all past employee HR & Training Files
* Undertake the administration process for medical appointments through our Occupational Health Provider
* Undertake administrative support for the monthly Works Council meeting
* Participate in investigations and disciplinary meetings where appropriate, ensuring accurate meeting notes taken and Line Managers advised on basic issues
* Provide any other administrative support that may be required
* Liaising with the relevant Managers with regards to any breaches of our Company policies and procedures
* Keep up to date with new legislation procedures
* Ensuring that all information is managed confidentially and where applicable in accordance with the Data Protection Act

To be considered for this role you must have the following:

* Previous experience of working in an HR team is highly desirable
* IT literate with good level of experience of MS Office & other IT packages
* Excellent level of numeracy skills & comfortable dealing with figures
* Ability to prioritise, multitask & stay calm under pressure
* Good communication skills both verbally and written
* Confidentiality & discretion is critical
* Good administration skills
