Spear & Jackson Group (a subsidiary of SNH Global Holdings Limited), is a Group of businesses with significant heritage and incorporating some major brand names. Operating in two business divisions, the Engineering Technology Group includes Bowers Metrology and Eclipse Magnetics, and the Tools Group including S&J UK and Robert Sorby; with a Group Corporate Office based in Sheffield providing shared resources to the various businesses.
The Spear & Jackson Group are recruiting a new HR Administrator to work within their Group Corporate environment in Sheffield. Reporting to the Group HR Manager the HR Administrator will work to support the HR team in delivering a professional HR service within, and on behalf of, the HR Department. The role will provide an efficient and customer focussed HR administration service by managing and supporting HR administration processes in all areas including amongst others:
• Recruitment administration
• Starters & Leaver processing
• Attendance management recording
• Employment benefit administration
• Assisting with travel and accommodation arrangements
• Supporting Company Fleet management
• Providing administration support to the Group Finance Team covering duties including, PSA, expenses, credit card and invoice admin etc
To apply for this role, you will need to have worked in a similar role and have ideally worked in a Group environment where you have gained experience of dealing with multiple demands to often tight deadlines. You will have a good understanding of HR administrative practices and value added, with previous experience of handling confidential / sensitive employee matters. Applicants will also need to demonstrate a good level of academic achievement alongside good level of IT competence.
They are looking for candidates who are both team players and confident working autonomously; self-motivated, enthusiastic and with an excellent work ethic, in possession of first-class communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly / proactive approach to customer service and the ability to instil trust and confidence in others.
