Our client is looking to recruit a HR Administrator based in their Retford office. They are seeking someone who is well organised, capable of working in a fast paced, dynamic environment and preferably a background in a HR Shared Service Centre. The successful candidate should be experienced in a wide variety of HR related matters.

About the role:

The HR Administrator works as part of an HR Administration team, who are the first point of contact for queries concerning HR transactional processes, procedures and general HR Administration. The HR team provides a high quality, responsive and customer focused HR administrative support service to Managers, employees and the wider HR team.

Key responsibilities:

  • Be the first point of contact for handling all HR administrative queries (alongside other members of the HR Services team)
  • Carry out new starter administration, including offer letters, contracts, pre-employment checks and set up on the HR system
  • Accurately administer key employee lifecycle processes
  • Be responsible for the accurate and timely maintenance of data on the HR system

Skills and Experience:

  • Ideally experience within a HR Shared Service Centre
  • Good working knowledge of HR best practice: processes, procedures and legal compliance
  • Experience of working within a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to priortise, multi-task and use own initiative
  • CIPD Level 3 (Desirable)
