HR Administrator - Part-time (3 full days) - Hereford

Circa £26,000 to £28,000 pro-rata + benefits

A new opportunity for a proven HR Administrator to join this well established, highly regarded and long-standing organisation. We are looking for someone who is confident in their abilities and able to provide a comprehensive HR administration service in support of the HR and Pensions department.

Reporting to the HR Manager, the HR Administrator’s responsibilities will include:

  • Organising and maintaining personnel records to meet company needs
  • Supporting with the production of statutory and statistical documentation to support in the provision of accurate, timely and meaningful HR data
  • Preparing, maintaining and filing appropriate documentation for employee personnel records
  • Inputting information into computer systems and preparing reports for management
  • Checking and circulating all absence data and advising Payroll Manager of correct payments
  • Preparing documents and correspondence associated with the work of the HR and Pensions sections, including salary increase letters, reports and forms
  • Supporting with new starter administration and employee induction process
  • Preparing and updating records in connection with employees’ personal details, e.g. change of address, marital status, department/job changes
  • Responding to queries and requests for information from internal and external stakeholders (e.g. reference requests, SSP/SMP information)
  • Arranging training courses for employees, clarifying cost and payment terms etc. and informing delegate of arrangements
  • Maintaining the department’s stationery requirements
  • Other ad hoc duties as required, for example providing reception cover and booking meeting rooms

HR Administrator Requirements:

  • 'A’ level English and Maths or equivalent
  • CIPD Foundation level
  • Prior experience of working with HRIS (e.g., SAP)
  • Excellent Microsoft office skills, including MS Word and Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy; ensures facts are correct, complete and consistent
  • Ability to effectively organise workload and contribute to the smooth running of the department
  • An understanding, acceptance and adherence to the need for strict confidentiality
  • Ability to communicate at all levels both internally and externally

About The Benefits:

The HR Administrator will receive and annual salary of circa £26,000 to £28,000 pro-rata, + benefits including 25 days leave (pro rata). Other salary sacrifice schemes, including childcare vouchers and 'cycle to work’ scheme.

This is a part-time position with the preference for someone working 3 full days; usual working hours are 8.30am to 4.30pm however some flexibility may be given.
