HR Administrator - MAT COVER

You will be working for a Top 100 global forwarder, with 150 offices in 80 countries, providing access to 5,000 logistics professionals worldwide. We leverage enthusiasm, experience and resources to reduce costs, improve product availability and increase responsiveness throughout our client’s global supply chains.

The HR team deliver a critical service to the organisation ranging from New Hire on-boarding to resolution of complex Employee Relations matters. We are now recruiting a HR Administrator for Maternity cover to continue the great work and excellent service delivery culture of the team/organisation. The specific details of the role are given below;

Duties & Responsibilities;

  • Provide a professional Admin function to the organisation and internal/external clients
  • Provide a comprehensive administrative support to the Central HR Team in Head Office
  • Assist the local management team with implementation of HR policies and procedures at a specific site covering approximately 100 staff
  • Manage Starters and Leavers process in line with departmental KPI's and orientations/on-boarding
  • Complete orientation training for all new starters, including agency staff within the first two weeks
  • Report absences and regular HR data for the site
  • Manage the HR records/systems, both manual and electronic
  • Ensure all data on attendance i.e. sickness, unauthorised absence, starters, leavers etc. are recorded correctly and reported to central HR on a weekly monthly basis
  • Organise training and social events for the facility
  • Any other tasks as requested by management
  • Professionalism and Integrity are of paramount importance

Essential Skills & Attributes;

  • Knowledge and experience gained in a HR Administrator or general administration role
  • Strong organisational and administration skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A Methodical and logical approach to work planning and service delivery balancing competing priorities
  • An understanding of Data Protection & Confidentiality requirements
  • Self-Motivated and proactive
