HR Admin Assistant

Macildowie HR are currently partnering with a leading organisation in recruiting for an HR Admin Assistant that will help to provide HR and administrative support to the wider HR team. The role is a temporary position based in Northampton and is paying £17,000 - £18,500 depending on experience.

The Role:

  • Provide a welcoming service in HR for both telephone enquiries and personal callers and forward appropriately
  • Open and date internal and external post
  • Check daily and deal with queries on HR & Recruitment from the company inbox
  • Become familiar with the recruitment process
  • Assist in all administration for recruitment campaigns
  • Ensuring the HR recruitment system is updated and holds accurate information
  • Administer any testing or assessment centres
  • Carry out first day inductions for new staff
  • Assist with monitoring returns of safeguarding checks
  • Ensure HRIS records are completed with new starters
  • Be involved in recruitment events and induction evenings
  • Make up induction packs, new start packs and new starter files
  • Maintain accurate records for staff sickness and absence
  • Maintain strict confidentiality at all times
  • Support event open days

The Candidate:

  • You will a desire to work within a HR position
  • Experience of working in a busy office
  • Experience of self management of workload
  • Have close attention to detail
  • Able to multi task
  • Basic IT skills including all Microsoft Office programs
