HPLC / Chemist - Liverpool

Julie Marshall is recruiting for a QC Chemist to join a company in the Pharmaceutical industry at their site based in Speke, Liverpool  on a contract basis for 12 months.

The main purpose of the role will be to conduct:
Stability and release testing of animal health products in compliance with cGMP.
Wet chemistry testing.
Analysis to support key site validation activities in compliance with cGMP.
Maintenance of analytical equipment.
Maintenance of laboratory records to current cGMP requirements.
Operating to current Environmental Health & Safety standards.

In order to be considered for this role, you will be required to have the following qualifications, skills and experience:
You will have a BSc or equivalent in a relevant Chemistry discipline and have some experience in analytical testing, ideally within a pharmaceutical environment.
Experience in chemistry or HPLC testing is essential.
You will be able to work alone with minimal supervision to demonstrate good written and verbal communication.
You will have the ablilty to systematically troubleshoot problems and make appropriate decisions.
