Orbit are looking for a Part Time Housing Scheme Assistant to join their Housing team, providing specialist housing for people over the age of 55.
Working within a team of Housing and Wellbeing Scheme Assistants you will carry out regular property inspections, helping to ensure health & safety compliance through general awareness and monitoring, undertaking audits and reporting any issues. You will also interact with customers and encourage them to live independently within a safe environment.
This post presents an excellent opportunity to progress your career. We are looking for individuals with previous customer service or administration experience, preferably involving Health & Safety and/or Compliance.
To be suitable for this role you will have strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and have a good level of IT skills. You will be proficient and skilled in literacy and numeracy, possessing strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
This role requires a full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
Please be aware this role is part time 24 hours a week and therefore the salary will be pro rata to £10,129 per annum, increasing to £11,254 per annum once probation has been completed.
