This is an incredibly unique role for a Solicitor experienced in Housing Disrepair on the tenant side, to join any of this firms 15 large offices.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years experience of housing disrepair work and an ability to conduct cases from beginning to end. A strong knowledge of Tort Law in Housing Disrepair, CPR rules on evidence, litigation, funding, and assessing on quantum is highly desirable. The role will also have a cross referral element in the personal industry department, dealing with primarily with injury caused by poor living conditions.
The candidate will be in an excellent position to receive a large deal of cross referral work from all offices, and be in a prime position for quick progression due to heading up this newly created field for the practice.
- You will have at least 2 years PQE, there is no upper limit.
- Experience in Social Housing, Disrepair matters, and Personal Injury matters. The ideal candidate will have exposure to all elements. However, good exposure to any one element would be considered.
- Due to the sensitive nature of the role excellent client care skills are essential.
- You will be able to take on and manage your own caseload
- Strong communication skills in both written and verbal forms
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
