Housing Assistant

A leading housing association is looking for an Housing Assistant to provide office and administrative support to the Property Services Manager and Resident Services Officer and Property Services Advisor. Assist in managing the service delivery to residents, ensuring an excellent customer experience.

Principle Accountabilities:

*Deal with day to day correspondence, telephone calls and front office/reception duties in line with customer service commitments

*Deal with all enquiries regarding repair requests

*Deal with enquiries regarding tenancy issues

*Ensure that incoming mail/parcels are distributed to tenants in line with the current procedure

*To give regular feedback regarding tenancy issues within the patch

*Distribute and collate information from Exit Interviews Questionnaires and Tenant Profile Forms on a monthly basis

*Liaise with security services to deal with issues that occur out of hours and provide feedback to line manager on quality of service delivery

*Carry out regular inspections of properties, maintain records and report maintenance issues both internal and external

*Complete pre and post inspections of repairs where required

*Monitor all cleaning and maintenance services to ensure that the residences and the quality of service to tenants are properly maintained

*Conduct room inspections and check-in/check-out inventories on site to check furniture and fixtures against the inventory and report to maintenance, or instruct tenant to reinstate/repair, according to procedure

*Ensure that health and safety requirements within the buildings are met with inspections and drills as appropriate

*Ensure the security and proper accessibility of the buildings for the residents at all times

*Report all termination requests received at reception

*Contribute to the process to ensure void targets are met within time tables set for the void procedure

*Complete all associated paperwork and records within targets set ensuring information is accurately stored on Info@Work

*Ensure all customer cases are logged on CRM and completed on time

*Responsible for booking guest rooms and ensuring guests comply with the terms of the let

*Liaise with Residential Management team to minimise void periods

*Notify applicants on details of their accommodation

*Provide details of proposed tenancy and tenancy guidance notes as required

*To ensure the completion of all appropriate documentation

Pay rate is £10.06 per hour
