Contract type: 12 weeks Temporary

Weekly hours: 35

Working hours and breaks: Monday to Friday 9am-5pm

Our Client require a Housing Assistant to provide a high quality customer service to residents and to provide a full and effective administrative support service to the housing services team/department.

Day to day duties include:

• To respond positively and promptly to enquiries from residents and members of the public, giving advice and guidance as appropriate

• To work on specific projects as designated by the line manager

• Responsible for accurately raising and matching purchase orders for the team

• Responsible for producing accurate statistics on Neighbourhood Teams performance

• To input data information accurately onto IT systems as required.

• Responsible for general administration and support, including mail merges, diary management, letters, emails and reports for the Neighbourhood Team

• To ensure interviews, appointments and visits for the team are booked in as required.

• To assist in maintaining and update the lean information centres.

• To ensure effective communication with all members of the team and other departments within a2dominion such as lettings, finance, customer service and property services.

• Carry out administrative support for meetings as required by the department

• Responsible for maintaining accurate data on budget spend within the Neighbourhood Team

Essential Criteria:

* Must be computer literate and able to use all Microsoft packages

* Strong administrative skills

* Minimum 2 years’ experience in an admin role

* Housing knowledge and experience
