We have an exciting opportunity for a Housekeeping Manager to join the new openings team at London West Smithfields! As a Housekeeping Manager of this fantastic new site opening, you will be responsible for the biggest city centre Premier Inn once the site is fully opened. Located in a vibrant part of Central London, this unique hotel opening will see 110 rooms open in late July followed by the remaining rooms in January 2019. The Housekeeping Manager will be required to manage process of hiring a new team post-July, onboard and train them ready for the big opening in January 2019!

The ideal candidate will be in a similar size property, and have full autonomy over their own department. You will also have a real eye for detail and ensuring standards are never compromised!

First impressions really count and you'll make sure they're consistently impressive from the moment a guest arrives until they leave, having enjoyed a brilliant stay. As part of the hotels management team, reporting to the Operations Manager, our Housekeeping Managers lead their teams to ensure that guests enjoy a consistently perfect Premier Inn stay. Super organized and committed to the highest standards, you'll be all about enabling your team. That includes helping new people to find their way and established team members to develop their skills and knowledge through ongoing training and development. Everything you do, from managing laundry through making sure everything works to controlling the deep cleaning schedule, will impact on guests so you'll be relentlessly focused on ensuring they enjoy the best possible experience.

Ideally, you'll have experience gained in a similar role or environment. So you'll know about and understand housekeeping operations, health and safety and working efficiently. Though more important than that is a flexible, adaptable approach, clear customer focus and an eye for detail as well as being able to lead a team– it's a busy and diverse role where your only aim is to help our guests feel brilliant, through a great night's sleep.
