This successful and established Insurance Claims handler based in Tonbridge, Kent has been established to provide various major insurance providers with an effective and cost-efficient partner for handling household insurance / home insurance claims from start through to settlement and providing a high level of customer service to all policy holders.
Due to ongoing expansion my client is currently seeking a Household Insurance Claims Handler to join their busy and friendly team and provide a high level of customer service. You will be taking the initial calls from policy holders relating to their Home Insurance Claim, updating the database with relevant information and then processing each claim through to settlement.
- Process household claims from FNOL call up to the point of settlement
- Answer a high volume of incoming calls
- Provide a high level of customer service
- Become familiar with industry regulations and terminology
- Be a point of contact for designated policy holders
- Keep Insurance providers up to date with claims
- Update database accurately
- Work well within a team
Ideal applicants will be educated to a good standard and will have at least 1 years' relevant experience within Home / Household Insurance Claims or a call centre / customer service environment. You must possess excellent customer service skills coupled with a professional telephone manner and a motivated approach.
