Hotel Standards Programme Manager - 18 months FTC

In this exciting new role within our Guest Experience team you will define, structure and plan the Hotel Standards Programme. You will work with stake holders to ensure project plans are produced, actively maintained and consistently aligned to the Programme plan; this will include driving the strategy as the Guest Experience champion in the evolution of hotel asset management, defect reporting and planned maintenance in line with Maritime Deck and Technical standards.

The Role

Hotel Standards hasn’t had the easiest of starts, with our pause in operations we had to postpone work in this area to focus on the "here and now" but, we are back!

With our guests returning on holiday the condition of our ships and future strategy of how we maintain high standards is key to our success.

We are looking for an engaging, self-motivator who can effectively manage the delivery of this high profile strategic programme to a set timeline and budget.

You will effectively manage programme risks and dependencies and bring a strong risk management ability to manage and understand a range of varied problems that require working across organisational boundaries and finding solutions to requirements.

You’ll have the ability to adapt to a wide range of audiences, bring excellent communication skills along with a demonstrated knowledge of leadership principles and practices. Your strong motivational skills will support establishing and developing the capability of teams.

About You

This role is brand new so we are looking for a go-getter who can organise quickly and cut though complexities to establish priorities, creating a rhythm of working that sets a strong tone across our business that this programme has the right level of focus and motivation behind it.

Your stakeholders will be remote, office based and on board our ships so we’ll need you to be flexible and open minded in your approach - this is not your standard 9-5.

Strong project skills aside, we are a HOLIDAY company so we are looking for a fun, engaging personality who understands the best way to connect and motivate.

You'll be based at our Southampton HQ but travelling on board our ships to understand current state and establish how the operation works will essential.

This position has been leveled at CUK07 and is a 18 months fixed term contract
