Hours: 15 hrs per week - 3 hrs per evening- 16:00 - 19.00

We are looking for experienced, knowledgeable, positive and enthusiastic, Domestic Assistant (Hospital / Clinical – cleaning) with an eye for detail to joing our Team of Domestics based at Paulton Hospital.
The primary role is cleaning within a clinical setting, which will include, Vacuuming, floor cleaning, damp dusting, low level dusting, high level dusting, bed cleaning, curtain changing etc. This also include Infection and out-break cleans. You will be expected to show and practice good hand and personal hygiene procedures at all times, following infection control and COSHH policy and procedures. Wearing the appropriate personal protective equipment for the task that you are performing. This is just a brief outline of the duties, but gives you an idea of what will be required.
You will need to be a good communicator and Team Player, as we all work together and help each other out. Depending on the role, you may be working on your own within a Department. All our Domestics work to specified Schedules of Work.
You will be required to undertake a range of cleaning duties working to National Cleaning Standards ensuring a safe clean environment for service users and clients. You will need to be flexible and responsible to meet the needs of the service.

The Hotel Services Department is part of the Facilities Department based at St Martins Hospital which provides Domestic, Catering and Portering services covering both the St Martins Hospital and Paulton Memorial Hospital sites.
