Hospitality and Catering Manager- 25k- Perm- Colchester.

My client, one of the worlds leading Soft Services companies are currently recruiting for an experienced Hospitality and Catering Manager to join their busy team based in the Colchester area. The ideal candidate will have experience managing large catering and Hospitality teams ideally in an Hotel environment

Main Duties
  • Managing the Hospitality and Catering teams in the business
  • Manage all events
  • Managing the catering and the bar areas
  • Managing client and contractual relationships
  • Disciplinary Actions
  • Ensuring compliance and company policies are adhered to
  • Will mainly be overseeing the catering and hospitality side of the business
  • Implementing plans to achieve strategic growth of the operation and overall contract delivery
  • Coaching, developing and leading all teams to provide exceptional service to the clients
  • Ensuring excellent service at all times and exceeding customer expectations/requirements and enhancing the customer journey
  • Deliver the profit for the business through leading and supporting your team in delivery of their financial targets
  • Demonstrate an in depth knowledge of Food & beverage, operating with focus on innovation, standards and market awareness
Essential Experience
  • Hotel and Soft Services experience
  • Strategic Management experience within a similar role
  • Experience of managing Catering and Hospitality teams
  • Must be very hands on
  • Standards and quality driven management style
  • Results orientated and motivated to achieve measurable results
  • Sound knowledge of Hygiene, Health and Safety
  • Have excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills
  • Be self-motivated and show the ability to work in a pressurised commercial, customer facing environment
  • Standards and quality driven management style
  • Motivated by a passion for quality and great service delivery
  • Computer literacy
  • Financial and commercial acumen
Package Details

25k- depending on experience

Mon - Fri, but will need to be flexible for certain events
