Smithson Gray are delighted to be working with one of the leading cosmetic surgery groups in the UK to assist in finding them a Hospital Manager/Director for their hospital in Central London

The Service
The company provides a range of cosmetic and bariatric surgical and non surgical procedures including Breast augmentation, liposuction, Rhinoplasty, Blepharoplasty etc to a UK leading standard.

The Candidate
As the Hospital Manager you will be a Registered Nurse (NMC) or HPC registration with at least 5 years post registration experience. You will have experience leading the senior staff. Experience in ensuring the provision of high quality, efficient and effective services. Have experience in putting services in place to ensure that the hospital delivers on key performance indicators. Experience ensuring that the service adhere to company policies and procedures and the company meets the requirements of the Care Quality Commission. Experience with developing and delivering localised business and service development strategies.

The Role
· To ensure 'fitness for purpose’ of all areas of the Hospital in accordance with regulations of the Care Quality Commission;
· To ensure that appropriate Health and Safety and risk management strategies are in place to ensure patient, public and staff safety;
· To notify the Healthcare Commission of events/absence/changes as per Health Care Regulations;
· Undertake and submit an annual self assessment of compliance against the National Minimum Standards in line with the Regulatory Framework of the Care Quality Commission;
· Implement actions identified as part of any self assessment, Provider Visit and/or inspection by the Care Quality Commission;
· Ensure that PPs have been granted and maintained by all relevant clinicians;
· Ensure that all relevant certificates and licenses, which are legally required are obtained, updated and displayed where required;
· To take a lead role in the formulation, implementation and review of a local annual business plan;
· To develop hospital strategy and business cases for consideration by the Board including resourcing and change management plans to ensure: a continued service delivery; higher quality services; reduction in costs; improved business outcomes and income generation opportunities;
· To define and continually review all key processes relating to the hospital including non clinical aspects to ensure optimum efficiency, quality and capital return;
· Prepare comprehensive Management Information data relating to utilisation, outcomes, cost and performance;
· Manage budget and resources within limit set;
· To operationally manage relevant Heads of Department, ensuring they continue to deliver and develop the services in line with Hospital and corporate strategies;
· Provide leadership and line manage to relevant head of departments;
· To lead, motivate and develop staff so as to maintain the highest level of staff morale and create a climate that reflects the Vision and Values of THG;
· In conjunction with HR develop local workforce plans to ensure continuity of service and optimising workforce productivity;
· To participate in the Manger on Call rota;
· To ensure the implementation of continuous quality improvement (CQI) within the hospital to enable the effective review of clinical quality of service and treatment;
· To ensure governance is embedded throughout all services within the Hospital and all staff participate in governance activities;
· Investigate complaints and incidents relating to any aspect of the hospital care;
· Implement actions identified as part of the audit cycle, complaint and incident investigations to ensure improvements in quality, lessons are learned and compliance is maintained
· To ensure appropriate arrangements are in place for mandatory training of all staff; staff attend where appropriate and records of attendance are maintained;

My client is looking to pay up to £80,000 per year plus benefits which will be discussed further at interview.
