My client is looking for an experienced consultant to come on board to build up their new cruise portfolio. You will be using your solid cruise knowledge to understand your customer's needs and ensure you sell the right product for them.
This is position is for someone who is keen to get out there and find new clients to drive the business to success! If you are confident on social media then this will be used for promotion of the business and building up your client portfolio from the comfort of your own home!
- Taking enquiries over the phone and email for worldwide cruise itineraries
- Offering exceptional customer service, expert advice and personal recommendations
- Using your solid cruise knowledge to understand your customer's needs and ensure you sell the right product for them
- Selling cruise holidays across all cruise lines
- Putting together quotes with the freedom to dynamically package and truly create your customer's dream holiday
- Working to and achieving sales targets
- Upselling and booking ancillary products where appropriate
- Working on a rota basis: Monday to Friday 0900-1900 and Saturdays 1000-1700, 37.5 hours a week
- No GDS knowledge required
- Utilising Social Media including Facebook, Twitter and Google+
The successful candidate will have a travel sales experience and will have solid worldwide cruise knowledge, either from specialising in cruise, or selling it regularly as part of a wider travel role.
Those candidates working in travel that have personally cruised extensively and would love to sell cruise will also be considered.
A competitive basic from £15kpa is on offer for the successful person, if you can sell then this commission scheme will see you earning much higher than your basic.
