Homeless Persons Officer
My client is seeking a part time candidate that can successfully move on a homeless applicant from a Temporary Accommodation property into a Private Rented Sector Property. The Officer will be supported into a comfortable workload by peers and the manager and provided with the knowledge to succeed within the team. The Homeless Persons Officer will be passionate about helping vulnerable people into the next stage of housing.
Leading your own cases with the freedom to assess and deal with your work as best works for you. The team are looking for a candidate that can quickly adapt to their way of working and hit the ground running bringing quality amongst knowledge peers.
- Experience within Homeless Casework and supporting Homeless and vulnerable clients
- Strong knowledge of housing related benefits and being able to advice clients where necessary
- Experience working with the person in their current home, building their confidence, helping them in a practical way to get services in place in their new home
- Knowledge of the Homeless Reduction Act 2017
If you have previous experience in these areas and keen to develop your knowledge further this is a perfect team for you. Management that are willing to help all case managers be the best they can possibly along with a strong hour rate.
