Meadowview is a 20 bedded nursing home for people who have a learning disability or cognitive impairment, that is made up of 3 inter connecting bungalows. It is staffed 24 hours a day by nurses and home support workers and is situated in Calow Chesterfield.
Bungalow 1 has 6 service users who have complex health needs and requires assistance with all activities of daily living
Bungalow 2 has 7 service users who have a range of complex learning disabilities and cognitive impairments (Huntington’s)
Bungalow 3 has 7 service users who have complex medical needs (epilepsy) and behaviours that may challenge including autism.
emh care and support help people with a learning difficulty or a disability to live an enjoyable, independent life. They do this by advocating on their behalf and by providing activities, support, care, and housing that matches their needs.
emh care and support also provide diverse housing and supported living services to a range of people whose circumstances have made their lives or their housing vulnerable such as teenage parents; older people; and homeless people.
We have a fantastic opportunity for 2 Home Support Workers to join our team at Meadow View.
As a Home Support Worker you will provide high standards of care and support for service users, in line with care and support plans, compliance with CQC regulations and the organisation’s policies and procedures.
You will also provide care and support for service users, encouraging them to do as much as possible for themselves in order to develop and maintain their independence and physical ability. Whilst also ensuring a healthy, safe and clean environment for service users in their home and encouraging their involvement in achieving this.
