New Care Home - Elderly -Braintree area-

We are delighted to be supporting a long term client opening a stunning new home in Essex in the summer of 2018. The home is set in a picturesque but accessible location and will provide high quality residential and dementia care in luxury surroundings. The home has been designed around the needs of residents and staff and will provide care for around 40 residents.
They are looking for a manager to start as soon as possible to work with them on finishing the home, recruiting their staff team and to be involved in marketing the home to prospective residents and the wider community.
Role responsibilities include:
·Ensuring that the home meets and where possible exceeds regulatory standards
·Recruiting, training, and supporting staff . Motivating and leading from the front to ensure an open, positive and inclusive atmosphere
·Ensuring care delivery and resident experience is of the highest standards
·Building sound professional relationships with professionals, families and external agencies
·Marketing the home to maximise occupancy and ensure the home meets financial targets
·Experience gained managing a successful elderly care or nursing home
·Relevant professional or managerial qualification. Nursing PIN advantageous but not essential
·Comprehensive understanding of Care Standards and the role of CQC
·Genuine commitment to enhancing resident's lives and a positive and flexible approach
The provider are an established group with a small number of high quality homes in the South East. They have successfully commissioned before and this role offers a rare opportunity to join an innovative and dynamic group at a key time in their development.
Salary for the role is negotiable depending on experience.
