Very excited to be recruiting on behalf of a multi-award winning care home operator who are seeking an experienced home manager to commission their latest addition to their portfolio in the sought after town of Poole.
Due to open in Autumn 2018 the home will provide first class nursing & residential care in a beautiful environment with state of the art facilities.
Our client is established and boasts a strong reputation as a quality care provider, as the successful home manager you will be supported by a HR & Recruitment team, Operations, Quality & Compliance managers as well as a hospitality and commissioning team.
You will be responsible for commissioning the care home in an efficient but quality led way and ensure key links are developed with local health professionals, commissioners and the community. You will recruit and retain your own staff and ensure they are trained and supported to achieve best performance in their roles.
Key Responsibilities will be
·Effectively market & promote the home
·Recruit & retain a full compliment of multi-skilled staff
·Register with CQC as the Registered Manager
·Ensure the home is compliant with internal and external regulations
·Responsible for the homes budget and performance
·Build and maintain a strong reputation as a quality led service
Requirements for the role
·L5 in Leadership & Management or equivalent
·Proven background of managing a successful care home
·Excellent knowledge of CQC, the Care Act, Health & Social Care Act
·Confident with budgeting, P&L
·A collaborative management style
·Able to motivate and mentor multi-skilled staff teams
·A quality focused approach
