Home Manager Commissioning - New Nursing Home, Newcastle £40K

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Home Manager to join an established and highly thought or private provider of care homes.

Bright Selection Ltd are delighted to be supporting this regional healthcare provider in its latest piece of recruitment; they are actively looking for an experienced Home Manager to manage one of Newcastle's newest nursing home. This state-of-the art, luxury service will provide exceptional care for up to 36 elderly residents once full.

My client is very highly regarded and they currently operate a number of services throughout the north of the UK. They are very much focused on quality of care and very much put the resident at the forefront of everything that they do.

The ideal candidate would potentially be a current Home Manager that is interested in the challenge of commissioning a brand new service.

The salary is £40K plus bonus.

Responsibilities include:

·Recruitment of staff
·Marketing - you will be responsible for filling beds, maximizing occupancy rates and revenue
·You will have a sound understanding of all relevant legislation as well as up to date knowledge of the CQC
·Auditing
·Implement action plans and manage the plans through to completion

Essential criteria:

·Demonstrable managerial experience within a care home setting
·Nurse qualification
·Be experienced within the elderly care sector
·Dementia experience within a care home environment
