We are working with our client who are looking to recruit for services in Bury .
·You will need To be flexible with hours of work and work when the needs of the setting require, which could be over 24 hours, across a 7 days week.
The range of working patterns will include days/evenings/nights/weekends. This offers a wide range of opportunities and flexibility to the role.
you can pick the hours that suit you from 1 day per week up to 5 days per week
this is classed as temporary work but can go permanent for the right candidates
·Shifts could be in a Residential Home, Community Care or Domiciliary Care Provider. Meeting the needs of the role requested will be the priority but working with you to get the right fit with your circumstances, will be taken into consideration.
·To work in all areas across the borough.
·To be able to drive and use own vehicle and possess the relevant business use insurance.
·Satisfactory DBS disclosure at the enhanced level.
·To work in accordance with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) regulations.
·To use be able to use any equipment i.e. mobile phones or other devices needed to do your work.
·To maintain a high standard of personal appearance and cleanliness including wearing, maintaining and safekeeping of uniforms
·Be professional, polite and reasonable whilst conducting their role.
·Providing person-centered care and support which is respectful.
·Care and support that maintains individual choice and personal skills: to promote welling and independence.
·Maintaining a safe, stimulating physical environment that meets the needs of the customers.
In accordance with the customer care plan and other information and /or under direction of senior staff to support customers to live well, eat well, be active and to stay safe and warm. For example, providing personal care and medication administration.
you will get paid in full for any travelling time and get mileage allowance this is all local work
You will be required to have
·NVQ L2 in Health and Social Care is desirable
·Moving and handling training is essential
·Safeguarding awareness training is essential
·Medication management training is essential
·Infection Control training is essential
