This is a temporary position for a history teacher in the first instance until the end of the current academic year. All things being well the school would hope to offer the successful applicant to this position a permanent contract for the coming academic year.
The focus of this role will be taking on KS4 GCSE Classes initially, teaching a full history timetable. The school are keen to meet with candidates and are seeking to appoint for this role as soon as possible.
To be considered for this role in education and training please email an updated CV as soon as possible.
Located in Islington, during its last Ofsted report (2014) the school received a rating of "Good", with leadership and management graded as "Outstanding". It is this outstanding leadership which has driven high attainment levels for students with the proportion of students obtaining 5+ A*-C doubling since 2013 including Maths and English. Teaching is described as being consistently good with some of it being outstanding. Students are well behaved, they understand and respect classroom management systems and they feel safe at school and engage with subject matter. This school has been going from strength to strength in recent years and looks set to become an Outstanding centre of education.
