I am looking for a Teacher of History to join my client school in York from Easter 2018 on a full time basis to cover for a maternity absence. The school is looking at appointing somebody on a permanent basis from September 2018, therefore there is opportunity for a permanent role opening for the right candidate.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Relevant degree and teaching qualification
- Effective behaviour management strategies
- Consistent career history
- Proof of "Good" or "Outstanding" teaching practice
- Experience to work in a secondary setting in the UK
The salary will be reflective of your current pay-scale, with opportunities to earn up to £160/£170 per day.
If you are a secondary school teacher with a specialism in History and can deliver the subject to GCSE, please do not hesitate to apply.
My client school is a mixed 11-16 school serving a genuinely comprehensive intake, they take pride in their commitment to making a difference to the life chances of all of their students.
