From September, this well-run community school located in the vibrant East London borough of Barking & Dagenham, is looking to appoint a History teacher to join the school on a permanent basis. school. The school has recently been through Ofsted and was graded 'good' overall with individual comments made regarding the excellent behaviour and leadership at the school. This is a school where the students are keen to learn and because of the school's comprehensive approach to teaching which rewards all types of success the students all feel they can and will achieve. The supportive nature of the senior leadership team mean that if any of the teachers at this school do experience issues they are quickly resolved - something which goes someway to explaining the low staff turnover at this school. The history department is made up from 3 full time teachers and is lead by the head of humanities who also oversees Geography and the social sciences.
