Highways Site Manager Required Around Southampton.

Working for a reputable highways contractor on a 20m million pound scheme. The job will be a temporary contract for about 12months. You will be in charge of the day today running of the civils works, you will have to report into the contractors manager on progress.

You will be responsible for organisation of all staff, plant and heath and safety on site.

You must have a highways background, this works is repair and maintenance on roads but also anything from 30K to 450K projects where you could be running up to ten projects at once

Roles and Responsibilities:

The role will include site based management

Office paperwork and computer work

Overall supervision of the workforce on site

Being responsible for implementing health and safety, compiling detailed reports and task briefs

Candidate Requirements:

Previous experience working on highworks

SMSTS

CSCS Card

Frist Aid

The ability to run a teams effectively
